Gold Vein Ascending

A vertical abstract composition split between two tonal worlds: a deep charcoal-black and graphite field on the left, and a misty expanse of warm grey and greige on the right. Between them, an irregular vein of cream, ochre gold and burnt copper rises through layered palette-knife marks, thinning as it climbs, with fine copper drips running downward beneath its densest cluster near the lower edge.

Scored horizontal and vertical lines cross both fields like faint scratches in the paint layers, adding quiet texture to the blended brushwork. The palette of charcoal, graphite grey, warm grey, cream white, ochre gold and burnt copper lends a dark, moody yet warm-earthy presence suited to a living room, bedroom or office wall.
