Sunlit Stairwell with Black Cat

A warm oil painting of a sunlit stairwell viewed from the top of the stairs, where ochre and golden-yellow walls meet a cream staircase washed in light. Two square openings fitted with geometric patterned grilles reveal lush green foliage and a glimpse of blue sky, while crisp lattice shadows stretch across the white-cream wall and down the treads.

At the lower right, a small black cat sits with its back turned, gazing up toward the glow. Rendered in soft blended dark tones with subtle warm highlights, the scene balances smooth ochre passages with dappled leaf-shadow shapes — a quiet, golden interplay of architecture, light and feline curiosity.
