Bronze Umber Field

Bronze Umber Field is a quiet tonal abstract in warm bronze-brown hues. Near-black burnt umber vignettes deepen at the left and right edges, framing a soft luminous glow of caramel and burnt sienna just right of centre, as if low light were gathering within the surface itself.

The portrait-format composition carries subtle horizontal and gently curved trowel and brush marks, fine scumbled striations through the lower third, and sparse delicate scratches with tiny speckled dots across the upper half. Thin layered color over a matte textured ground keeps the finish restrained and low in relief, making it a grounding presence for a living room, bedroom, dining room, or office.
