Cliffside Cottage, New Morning

A white-washed coastal cottage with a warm orange-red roof sits atop a grassy headland, its cobalt-blue door facing a winding sand-and-stone path that curves up from the shoreline past a weathered wall. Below, the sea rolls in deep layered blues with a single crest of white surf beneath a broad cerulean sky.

Painted with bold, confident knife-work, the scene layers thick impasto on the cottage walls and path, scumbled greens and ochre yellows across the headland, and bright orange wildflowers anchoring the foreground — a cheerful, sunlit impressionist view for living rooms, bedrooms or offices.
