Pale Impasto Drift

Pale Impasto Drift is a wide 2:1 abstract composition built entirely from thick palette-knife strokes. Slab-like masses of warm white, ivory, blush beige and soft grey overlap like scattered petals or stone fragments, with raised knife edges, ridges and gently curled paint tails catching the light.

Darker charcoal-grey passages gather near the top edge and upper corners, while vertical dragging and scumbled grey underlayers show through between the thicker masses. The matte, plaster-like surface and muted palette of soft greys, warm white, ivory, blush beige and muted taupe give the piece a calm, quiet-neutral presence suited to living rooms, bedrooms and offices.
